The history of Nasha Klumba is quite simple - we have always lived in flowers. Flowers near the house, flowers near the fence, flowers between vegetable crops, and in the garden! Initially, there were tulips, delphiniums, roses, chrysanthemums, lilies, hostas and other perennials that complemented and replaced each other. In 2003, we discovered the variety of iris, then daylilies. There were more and more flowers until they filled almost the entire 30-acre plot of land. It was an unforgettable sight every May - a small field of blooming irises, followed by daylilies and other perennials. In July-September, we would receive parcels with new plants, plant them and wait, wait a year for a new flower in May, and then everything would go full circle again.....

Everything changed in 2011 when peonies appeared in our flower beds. We still wonder how at that time, having information about the number and variety of varieties of irises and daylilies, we could not even imagine the same diversity in the world of peonies!!! Peonies... We can talk about them for a long time or a very long time. We are again waiting for May, again looking forward to the flowering, but this time of peonies. And now we have to wait longer - only three years after planting can we count on a beautiful flower and only in the fifth year on a magnificent peony bush - one that will take our breath away! And again, a small field, and again with enthusiasm! Of course, we are still into irises and other flowers, but the peony-mania does not go away. We receive parcels again, plant them again, and searching and ordering new varieties is another story.

About 500 varieties of peonies live on Nasha Klumba. Is it a lot? For professionals, it's just the beginning, and for beginners, it's a huge collection. But you should always objectively assess the quality of a peony collection, how interesting and promising it is. We are proud of our collection - it has been collected for more than 10 years from various sources, it consists of both very popular and widespread varieties and still rare and desirable varieties for collectors.

We would like to express our deep gratitude to Vasily Fedorovich Gorobets, a well-known Ukrainian breeder, author of more than forty varieties of herbaceous peonies. His practical experience is vast, and his advice is invaluable. Vasily Fedorovich is an incredibly dedicated person, surprisingly pleasant and sincere in communication.

Since 2009, our site has been operating under the name Nasha Klumba Bureau on the
irisy.com.ua domain, but in September 2021, the site was hacked and it was impractical to restore its work, so now you are on the pages of our new site nashaklumba.com.ua, to which we tried to transfer all the information about our peony collection. We wish you a pleasant browsing and hope that the information we have collected will be useful to you!
